Huawei ME60-X3 Main Processing Unit D3 ME0D00MPUD72 PN# 03055715
ME0D00MPUD72 MPUD is the Main Processing Unit D3 used for Huawei ME60-X3.
The MPU consists of the main control unit, system clock unit, synchronous clock unit, and system maintenance unit. The MPU of the ME60-X3 controls and manages the system and switches data. Installed main control boards must be of the same type.
The two MPUs work in 1:1 backup mode. Each MPU monitors the status of the other. If the master MPU is faulty, the slave MPU automatically takes over as the master MPU.

QoS | Provides a well-designed HQoS mechanism. Provides advanced scheduling and congestion avoidance technologies, accurate traffic policing and shaping, and complex rule definition and fine-grained flow identification. Supports MPLS HQoS and ensures QoS for MPLS VPN, VLL, and PWE3 services. Supports DiffServ- and MPLS TE-based DS-TE, eight class types (CTs), and TE-tunnel-based QoS. Supports a maximum of 768K flow queues per slot. |

Value-Added Services | Supports Destination Address Accounting (DAA), which helps carriers identify services based on destination network segments and perform separate accounting for different services on IP carrier networks. Supports Enhanced Dynamic Service Gateway (EDSG), which identifies various user services based on traffic destination addresses and implements independent rate limit, accounting, and management for each service. |
